I would say it's good base for staying and exploring Chicago. Really helpful, very very helpful staff. The service is terrific, includes easy to access parking. Fortunately, it has free Wi-Fi in public areas.
The hotel was hip new and clean in general. Informative, very courteous staff and heated swimming pool.
The breakfast was pricey.
